The progress gives us a huge amount of new possibilities in all scopes of human activity and Educ@ble is a step in developing one of them. Our new project, Internet virtual community, is a special instrument realizing the modern method of children education. The customer, Madrid cable TV operator, has for the object to enter the school market thanks to this project. It is only the first phase of a big plan that foresees expanding of school activities and creation of school information society.

The virtual model of the Munich Airport Center was created by request of MAC to promote the areas and the offices of airport center. VMAC is a 3D internet site, where visitors have possibility to view and to appreciate a huge complex with various offices inside from every quarter. And at the same time besides visual impressions they can get required business information about different parts of the Airport Center.

KMBCex project is one more step in development of ability VRML technology to serve people. It is the renovated version KMBC, the virtual model of large new building complex in Turnhout. E-spaces updated the project of last year, according to the new architectural plans. KMBCex was created to provide customer with promotional and marketing tool for this estate and first demonstration of this virtual model occurred at a fair in Dortmund on the 29th of March.

Visitors of CeBIT 2000 had opportunity of examining unusual flat being built in German town. Its special equipment will allow controlling and managing all home appliances via electric wires embedded in the walls. The demonstration of this interesting flat became possible because of Virtual Demo House project created by E-spaces. Its developers by applying all their skills and experience did everything in their power to give possibility of having a clear idea of this flat.

Everybody knows the wonderful stories about kings, princes and beggars, giants and dwarves, witches and dragons. For generations, the fairy tales by the brothers Jacob (1785-1863) and Wilhelm (1786-1859) Grimm have captured the hearts of countless children all over the world. Tales like "Cinderella", "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves" or "Hansel and Gretel" have lost none of their attraction for children since their "conception" two hundred years ago - one good reason for Greenlight to establish the new media brandname SimsalaGrimm™: a unique and high-class cartoon production directed by Gerhard Hahn. As soon as first cartoon series was broadcasted in Germany SimsalaGrimm™ appears on-line what is greatest achievement of E-spaces on autumn-winter 1999.

Sail World

The virtual model of Flanders Language Valley campus was created by E-spaces by November 11, 1999 - the day of camus' inauguration. The model represents the campus as if it was located on an island in open sea. Visitor is able to get a great impression of bright sunny day in the campus.

Ipopcorn Venues
ipopcorn (Korea, Inc.) - 10 October 1999

The Ipopcorn Venues project done by E-spaces is a set of 3D worlds for internet community presented by ipopcorn Korea, Inc. where people could walk, interact and socialize. Several worlds were designed as buildings that surround a plaza which connects all the worlds together. New advanced technology allowed E-spaces to make all these worlds very small in means of bandwith usage keeping them graphically intensive and detail rich.

Using avatars in 3D worlds is a necessity if you prefer to work in multi-user mode and make a world as interactive as possible. However we always have the intention to go a step further. By making avatars photorealistic the 'aha-experience' and the feeling and being involved even increases. By eliminating the background the creativity in the movement and animation of a personalized avatar is more stressed, as shown in this site.

This project was developed by the opening of a very large new building complex in renovated defunct military barracks. An off-line, single-user VR visualisation of "the virtual opening ceremony" was created by using VRML technology.

Technopolis

Flanders Technology International is building Flanders first interactive center for science and technology. E-spaces created a VRML model of the building as it is going to be built.
The VRML model allows visitors of the F.T.I. website to take a virtual tour around the future building. An "appreciation flight" offers users a visit around the 3D-building, as were they seated in a helicopter.

Virtual Europe
European Commission Directorate General XV, Brussels, Europe (Belgium) - June 1998

Virtual Europe is a 3D internet site, where people can walk and collect tailor-made information in 11 languages about their rights and opportunities in the European Union. Visitors can also get free advice from experts, and interact with other people by using virtual representations ('avatars'). This project is a part of the European Commission's permanent Dialogue with Citizens and Business which gives people user-friendly direct access -free-phone numbers, internet- to information and advice about the European Union.

Lenexpo Virtual Exhibitions
LENEXPO, St.-Petersburg, Russia - 17 December 1997

VRML model of Lenexpo, the largest exhibition center of St.-Petersburg (Russia). This online experience allows you to appreciate all the pavilions of the Lenexpo center and attend the exhibitions being held at Lenexpo at present: stroll through all exhibition halls, examine posters, photos, models etc. Further information about all exhibiting companies is available on associated HTML pages. Our customer's goal is to give online visitors the feeling of a real visit to the Lenexpo exhibition center.

Citizens' Plaza (Phase II)

This project was realized in the context of the large scale 'Citizens First' community action executed by the European Commission's Directorate General XV.The present project is the enriched/enhanced version of the original -Viscape-based- Citizens' Plaza (Phase I). In comparison to its earlier implementation this version -among other things- features much nicer graphics, a complete make-over of the visual style and added functionality, e.g. a peripatetic News Boy, and an embedded multi-user chat space.

Televirtual Talkshow (CAMELOT) (in progress)
EC ESPRIT Programme, Brussels, Europe (Belgium) - Dec. 1, 1996 to Sept. 30, 1998

CAMELOT is a 22-month 50% EC-funded research & development project in the context of the ESPRIT programme. The goal of our part in this project is to develop and demonstrate a low-cost solution for high-fidelity real-time netcasted VRML-based interactive talk-shows, using the innovative face & body motion-capture system being developed by Eptron, the coordinating partner of the CAMELOT project.

A 'singing and dancing' VRML model of the historical center of Antwerp, Belgium's second largest city and Europe's second largest port. This on-line experience allows you to feast your eyes on the quayside, visit the Steenplein and its fortress 'Het Steen' (The Rock), walk down the Suikerrui (Sugar street) and marvel at the fine old facades on the Grote Markt (Grand Place)... all of this without leaving your house. Our goal here was to create a realistic model that would convey the feeling of a real walking tour through Antwerp's finest streets & places.

Antarctic Expedition
Tandem, Cupertino, California, USA - January-February 1997

The goal of this world was to visualize the key aspects of the Tandem One Step Beyond polar expedition-by-foot: its trajectory -with major waypoints- from the South Pole to the edge of Antarctica, the Professor Khromov waiting for them there, the sledge-pulling three-man convoy, and last but not least: the forbidding desolation, coldness and wild beauty of the Antarctic environment.
