On July 18, 1997, we demonstrated to the European Commission in Luxemburg three televirtual experiences that we did in the framework of the COMPASS project, one of the relatively few INFO2000 programme projects that got funded.

One of these spaces was a 3D recreation of the main marketplace of Nurnberg. This is a demonstration-phase VRML prototype -but very nicely produced, even if we say so ourselves- of a system that will allow end-users (SMEs) to use televirtuality to preview and select multi-media content blocks for presentations about the region in which their company is embedded. The system will also form the basis for E-spaces' spin on the concept of televirtual Yellow Pages directory of products & services.

You can take a look at them at:

We especially recommend to look at the Nurnberg square which came out rather nicely.
